Why this publication

Luxembourg counts more than 8,000 ASBLs and 219 foundations. The majority run thanks to volunteers who spend their evenings on admin: bylaws, RCS filings, Register of Beneficial Owners, annual accounts, AGM minutes.

And since the law of 7 August 2023, the regulatory framework has tightened significantly. The Luxembourg non-profit sector is looking for clear, up-to-date information that does not read like a raw legal text nor like a sales pitch from a fiduciary.

This is the gap Veräin Media aims to fill.

Editorial line

One in-depth article per month. Reference guide format, sourced against the Luxembourg legal text and the official FAQs of the Ministry of Justice. Designed to remain useful 18 to 24 months after publication, not to follow daily news.

Articles are published in French, Luxembourgish, German and English. Luxembourgish is not an add-on: it is a deliberate brand positioning, because the traditional non-profit sector — music societies, cultural circles, neighbourhood associations — still largely operates in Luxembourgish.
